Do you have a Secretlab gamer chair (or not!) and want to add a lumbar cushion for even greater comfort?
Because yes, a lumbar cushion is essential, and it’s what will help support some of the weight exerted on your lumbar vertebrae when you’re in a seated position.
It also respects the natural S-shaped curvature of your spine.
This means more comfort for you, or less back pain for those who suffer from it (and if you don’t have a lumbar cushion or reinforcement built into your chair, the chances that you’re currently suffering are almost 100%).
However, for those who have a gaming chair with a built-in reinforcement, it’s totally optional. It’s like driving with driving gloves, it’s more pleasant, but not compulsory, and it also depends on preference.
Then I imagine you’re having trouble deciphering the technical data sheet, understanding which one to choose according to your situation and what they’re worth?
Then follow me to the end, because I’ll tell you everything.
However, here’s a little hint: the 1st one is the most ergonomic and comfortable if you’ve got a Titan Evo, but not if you’ve got another brand of gaming chair.
The other 4 are similar and suitable for any Secretlab or third-party gamer chair, and have the added advantage of super-friendly designs.
Now let’s get down to the comparison!

The advantage of this lumbar cushion is that it’s fully adapted and designed to fit the lumbar support integrated into the Secretlab Titan Evo.
For those in the know, this is the Titan Evo’s “L-Adapt” mechanism!
What makes it particularly suitable is its shape, which you’ll notice is unique (unlike other cushions, which all have the same shape).
It slips over your chair and works in conjunction with the Titan EVO’s built-in reinforcement to give you extra support and comfort.
This is the most coherent choice if you have a Titan Evo Series 2022.
However, if you have another Secretlab model, or no Secretlab gaming chair, I wouldn’t recommend it, as it won’t fit as well.
What’s more, this model, unlike the others, is made of PlushCell™ memory foam, which has been infused with a special temperature-regulating gel.
Memory foam is perfect for lumbar cushions, because it’s what’s going to bring you the most comfort, as the foam will come to adapt to your shapes.
This provides even better support and helps relieve pressure on the lower back.
The thermoregulating gel is also an advantage, because it’s what’s going to ensure you don’t freeze to death in summer.
Next, PlushCell™ foam is a technical process specific to Secretlab, and means in concrete terms that it’s a high-density foam (the best way to ensure that the cushion doesn’t end up flattened after several months)…
AND that the foam has been designed to relieve as much pressure as possible from your body.
In short, it’s all about comfort.
In practical terms, then, its only shortcomings are its rather basic aesthetics (but as they’re only offering one for the moment… Good thing it’s sober).
And then it’s the most expensive of the comparison, but also the best, and for me it’s clearly worth the extra 20€.

Unlike the one we’ve just seen, this lumbar pad isn’t particularly suited to the Titan Evo.
Mind you, I’m not saying it doesn’t fit – it fits without a hitch.
It’s just that it doesn’t have the right ergonomic shape for the lumbar support mechanism already built into the Titan Evo (the L-Adapt).
So to put it simply: I recommend this cushion for all types of chair, not necessarily a Secretlab.
As with any lumbar cushion, the aim is to position it in the lower part of your back to provide extra support for your lumbar vertebrae.
This support removes some of the pressure from your back, while respecting the natural “S” curvature of your spine.
In other words, everything you need to be able to play for several hours without suffering.
Secondly, and most appreciably, it’s made from memory foam.
Memory foam improves blood circulation, adapts perfectly to your body and correctly redistributes support points.
So, obviously, it costs more than an ordinary €20 cushion, but we’re talking about your back, and your health in general.
And as a bonus…
I know not everyone likes Fortnite, but for those who do, it gives you an extra touch of personalization for your chair!
You just can’t find a Fortnite memory foam lumbar cushion anywhere else.
As for the material, it’s velvet.
It’s super soft, so for guys who play shirtless like me in the summer, know that it’s a real pleasure because it’s so soft.

And not the Titan Evo in particular, which means that whatever your chair, you can choose it.

So if you don’t have a lumbar cushion, I don’t need to tell you again how important it is to have one to protect your back and prevent you from suffering during games.
Aesthetically speaking, from a purely objective point of view, the embroidery is superbly well done, every detail has been respected and the colors are very well worked.
It looks very solid and isn’t the kind of cushion that will end up losing threads or coming unstuck over time.
So when it comes to durability, you’re in the clear, as with all our other cushions.
Finally, from a more subjective point of view, any self-respecting LoL fan will appreciate the beauty of the design.

This cushion is also compatible with any brand of gamer chair.
Why is that?
Because it’s not particularly suited to the Titan Evo like the 1st one.

Now for the aesthetics of this Monster Hunter lumbar cushion…
The embroidery is extremely well done, which seems to be a recurring theme at Secretlab.
The colors here are also very well embossed, they’re deep and they go very well together while taking up the Monster Hunter universe.
So I can’t help but approve.
Little tip: this cushion will be ideal if you ever have a Monster Hunter gamer chair.

The Gryffindor lumbar cushion!
This is also compatible with any chair, not just Secretlab’s Titan Evo.
I also recommend it for the same reasons as the other 3.
That is, for those who don’t have a lumbar cushion, or a low-end lumbar cushion… (often the case when buying a cheap gamer chair)…
Expect to feel a big difference.
Having a lumbar cushion is a necessity when you spend time sitting gaming/working.
Your back NEEDS to be in the S position, otherwise it’s open season on various ailments.
But that’s not the only advantage of this cushion.
Because it’s memory foam, you’ll also benefit from the fact that memory foam is high quality and won’t sag over time.
It also distributes your weight more evenly throughout the cushion, improving circulation and adapting to your body.
As for the material, velvet is perfect, as much for its softness as for its beauty (given the price, you’re bound to want quality…).
As for the design of the cushion, I chose it too, because it’s very pretty, and picks up the Gryffindor house colors really well.
It’s also well made, like the others, and therefore durable.
