The X1000 is Nitro Concepts’ latest model!
It outperforms the C100, the E250 and maintains a good rivalry with the S300, which has a better degree of inclination, but…
Which, because of its dimensions, is better suited to slightly smaller physiques.
It’s a very good chair, with all the adjustments you need for an ergonomic sitting position and top comfort during your gaming sessions!
If you’re looking for value for money, you’ve come to the right place: their strong point is their value for money.
To find out more, read the test to the end, because I’m going to tell you everything about the X1000!
Sommaire
Are you looking for a chair that you’ll enjoy using for a long time, because it’s comfortable and won’t hurt your back?
The Nitro Concepts X1000 is top of the line for long gaming sessions and has been designed specifically for intense use!
If you’re more of a casual gamer…
Save your money and go for a budget gaming chair instead (the biggest in my tests), as you’re not the intended target of this chair.
Finally, you’ll need to be between 1.65 and 1.95 m tall and weigh no more than 135 kg to get the most out of the X1000.

The Nitro Concepts X1000 is made from cold foam that’s quite firm, which is great for preventing back pain.
If you’ve read my guide to choosing the right gaming chair, you’ll know that this is a very important point.
You’ll also know that the quality of the foam not only affects your comfort, but also the chair’s durability.
High-quality cold foam, like that used on the X1000, will prevent the seat from sagging over time and thus…
Your chair will retain its initial comfort much longer.
In addition to all this, as you can see from the photo…
The seat is slightly raised, allowing you to sit properly at the back.
Knowing how often I used to slide forward on my chairs and find myself slumped over, I think this is a big plus!
The only small fault is that I couldn’t find the precise density of the foam, but that’s incidental in a case like this.
The side cheeks are not very pronounced.
As a result, you won’t get the “cockpit” effect of being hyper-maintained once you’re seated.
Nonetheless, they’re not non-existent either, and I think that’s just what you need, and if you like to combine support and comfort (keeping some freedom) you’ll love it!
On the X1000, you’ll have a “center-tilt” tilting mechanism.
In other words, with each movement, the seat and backrest tilt with you.
This is one of the most important features, because…
The type of tilting mechanism will influence the number of hours you can spend sitting comfortably.
The big knob will allow you to adjust the tension according to your weight, and you can also block this mechanism if you don’t like it.
However, I wouldn’t recommend blocking it (think of your back)!
The gas strut used is very important, as it provides the spring force needed to assemble the chair, and also influences its sturdiness.
You’ve probably all had that office chair that takes a long time to assemble, or does so with great difficulty.
With the X1000, the gas spring is class 4.
This is the best range of gas springs you can get, so you won’t have any of these problems and you’ll get a top-of-the-range gas spring.
What’s more, the chair descends quite low, so even if you’re not very tall, you’ll be able to touch the ground!
The chair’s skeleton is made of metal, which is great because it’s both lightweight, so easy to transport, and very strong.
It’s a great guarantee of durability.
As for the base, it’s made of nylon, the same material used on most gamer chairs.
But you could have done better with metal, aluminum or, as I’ve seen, chrome.
But given the price, that’s to be expected.
The Nitro Concepts X1000 features 3D armrests.
This means they can be adjusted :
And under the seat, you can adjust the width of the armrests using screws.
This allows you to move them closer or further apart, depending on your shoulder width.
Secondly, the armrests are stable and don’t move a muscle, unlike some chairs.
So there’s no creaking sound or disturbance from them moving when you play.
The top of the armrests is made of very firm, but comfortable foam, the armrest itself is made of metal and the brand logo is present on each of them.
The Nitro Concepts X1000 is a perfectly tailored bucket seat with a racing-car look.
In order to easily adapt it to your set-up and maintain that “gamer” effect, it’s available in a wide range of deep, well-executed colors.
There’s black, black and white or blue, and I personally chose the red and black version.
The details have all been well worked out, and you’ll find the brand logo embroidered at the top of the front and back backrest, and on the right-hand side, the model number!
The logo is also embroidered on the neck cushion, and the brand also appears embroidered on the lumbar cushion.
The brand is also embroidered in a less visible way, on the lower right-hand side at the back of the backrest.
The big thing that makes this design particularly attractive is that the lumbar cushion has no straps.
So there are no unsightly holes on the backrest for the straps to pass through.
And I really like that!
The fabric used is of very high quality, and there are small pieces of carbon-effect PU leather on the edges of the back and seat to give it style.
The big advantage of this upholstery is…
It’s highly breathable, unlike PU leather, so you won’t have any problems with perspiration in summer.
What’s more, unlike poor-quality PU leather, it will never peel.
So that’s an added bonus in terms of durability.
The only drawback is that you’ll have to watch out for stains, some of which could be complicated to clean.
However, there’s a zip around the cushions and on the backrest, so you can remove the cover and clean it.
To respect the natural curve of your neck, the X1000 comes with a cushion that can be positioned at the nape of your neck.
In this photo, I’ve positioned it high, so you can compare it with the other photos where I’ve positioned it low.
And a bigger one, without straps…
So you can position it as you like, without the risk of it shifting, and without being restricted by the straps, which are placed at lumbar level.
It’s perfect for increasing comfort and avoiding back pain, because…
Your spine will be correctly positioned, and so will your neck.
Both cushions are made of high-quality fabric and filled with foam.
The seams are clean, even, tight but not too tight, and solid.
In general, the back is the least pretty.
And so, as you can see, there are no flaws or floating fabric!
The screw covers are plastic (like almost 100% of chairs), but they don’t look cheap.
The cover connecting the seat to the back even has the brand’s logo on each side. What’s more, they hold up superbly because they too are screwed on.
As for the castors, they’re silent and 60mm with a polyurethane coating to avoid damaging the floor.
In terms of smoothness, they roll well, but if you want the maximum of the maximum…
Perhaps for 1% of users, you can buy “roller” type castors, but unless you have a special use for them, I don’t consider it necessary.
The backrest swivels up to 125°, so you can find the ideal sitting position…
And during your breaks, you can easily lie back to watch a series, a film, or just relax.
What’s more, even when fully extended, the chair remains stable and won’t move.
You can adjust the height of the armrests using the knob on the outside of each armrest, and the angle from front to back using the knob on the inside of each armrest.
On the right-hand side of the seat you’ll find a lever for tilting the backrest to the angle you prefer.
The tilting mechanism can be adjusted by turning it clockwise for maximum balance.
Assembly is going to be super-quick, because the armrests are already assembled, which isn’t always the case.
As you can see, the guide is simple to understand, with just 6 steps.
Everything is well packaged, and the tools to assemble it are included.
There are even extra screws in case you lose them.
I’ve gone one step further for you, and aggregated the Internet reviews of the X1000!
What users like most is :
The sobriety of some of the available colors and its simple assembly compared to other brands.
Also the fact that it’s suitable for physiques up to 1m85.
The chair’s value for money and seating comfort are also frequently mentioned.
In short, this is a very good product that comes highly recommended.
The Secretlab, with 4D armrests, cold foam, backrest swivel up to 165°, patent-pending technologies such as the L-Adapt lumbar cushion, magnetized neck cushion and more.
A very good choice, but you’ll have to make sure of your budget.
The Nitro Concepts S300 (of course) 3D armrests, cold foam, backrest that swivels up to 135° and maximum weight of 135kg.
Interesting if you’re smaller and want a more adjustable backrest. (Because on the X1000, the backrest is wider and the seat deeper).
Read my review of the Nitro S300.
The Oraxeat MX800 with 75kg/m3 high resilience foam, 4D arms, 150kg maximum load, 160° swivel backrest, a good choice if you want 4D arms and a more adjustable backrest.
But you’ll also need to be sure of your budget, as it’s expensive.
Read my review of the MX800 here.
If you’re a gamer like me, you know that sitting on a poor-quality chair for long periods of time can lead to long-term back problems.
That’s why you’re looking for a quality gaming chair.
And the X1000, with its 3D armrests, adjustable backrest and firm cold foam, will help you overcome this problem, allowing you to sit longer (and spend more hours gaming) without suffering.
Would you like to buy the X1000 and make sure you don’t come across a counterfeit?
