Perfect for gaming, work and content creation, the Furgle gaming chair offers quality at an affordable price.

What’s more, they design the chairs themselves!

So is it a good deal? Stay with me and I’ll tell you all about it!

For which profile?

Furgle
Furgle Carry Series
furgle gaming chair

The Furgle carry series is designed with gaming in mind.

It’ll suit you fine if you’re a gamer who tends to spend 2-3-4h/d on the computer!

On the other hand, if you’re a more intensive user, I’d advise you to go for the best gaming chair you can find out there.

As for body shape, I’d recommend it if you’re between 1m60-1m90 and no more than 150kg.

I also find that the side cheeks are pretty tight…

So if you’re very broad-shouldered, you might feel cramped.

Very high density foam: 60-70kg/m3

I’m clearly surprised to find such high-density foam at such an affordable price.

Normally, this is only found in high-end gaming chairs.

Foam density is what allows you to have foam that quickly regains its shape, making it more durable and far more qualitative!

The little extra is that it’s memory foam, so it adapts to the shape of your body, increasing your comfort.

Pronounced side cheeks

The side cheeks (at seat and back) are moderately pronounced.

That’s just what you need for good support and comfort.

It’s perfect if you’re rather thin in the shoulders, as the cheeks on the backrest are narrow.

Swing mechanism for the furgle gaming chair

Like most gaming chairs, the Furgle Carry also features a rocking mechanism!

A must-have when you’re going to be sitting for hours on end…

It’s a must-have if you’re going to be sitting for hours on end… because it’s going to take the strain off your back as you move around.

SGS-certified cylinder

SGS certifies the quality and safety of the actuator.

As a general rule, a very large proportion of gaming chairs have this certification.

The Furgle’s gas spring is also a class 4 gas spring.

So it’s top-of-the-range in terms of spring force, it’ll go up/down easily and you’ve got a solid cylinder to boot.

Alloy steel skeleton, plastic cross

The structure of the chair is made of alloyed steel, which is not only a very strong material (steel).

What’s more, the fact that it’s alloyed means that alloys have been used to improve its strength, resistance to wear and so on.

Nevertheless, the foot cross is made of plastic, which is a shame…

But I’m used to seeing plastic foot crosses on gaming chairs (except for the very high-end ones, generally).

Armrest adjustment: 1D

The armrests are height-adjustable only, so 1D…

3D would have been cool to adapt the chair even better to your morphology, but it would have made the price explode…

Height-adjustable armrests mean you can adjust them to suit the size of your desk.

So you don’t hurt from the edge of the desk when you’re holding the mouse, and so you can rest your elbows on them and relax your shoulders.

Nice bucket seat

The Furgle is a very pretty gaming chair, and it’s obvious that they’ve taken great care with the design.

You’ve got a beautiful bucket seat with the logo embroidered on the top of the backrest, both front and back…

It adds a touch of personalization, and it’s embroidered on the cushions too!

To top it all off, this model is available in a wide range of colors.

So you can easily adapt it to the color of your setup or the decor of your home or bedroom.

Frankly, it looks great in black and white!

The Furgle is made of PU leather

Pu leather (polyurethane) is crusted leather, sometimes fabric, depending, coated with polyurethane to mimic the appearance of leather.

Basically, it’s a type of leatherette.

It’s like that on practically all gaming chairs.

The advantage of this material is that it’s easy to clean and looks great.

Its strong points are that it’s hard-wearing, not necessarily very thick, but hard-wearing and well padded.

Furgle has taken great care with appearance, as you’ll notice there’s not a single crease on the chair.

Free accessories: Cushions!

I don’t know if you’re used to not using cushions on your chairs, but…

I really recommend you use them.

It makes a huge difference.

It’s an accessory that brings significant benefits.

The lumbar cushion will allow you to reproduce the normal curvature of your spine.

So you’ll be able to play longer and be more comfortable.

The neck cushion does the same, but for the nape of the neck.

However, it’s less important, because it’s quite rare to rest on the headrest, even in real life…

You don’t stand or sit on something, do you?

In short, it helps reduce fatigue and circulate air, because imitation is known to make you sweat in summer, which earns it a very good rating!

Good quality finish and stitching

The seams are clean, evenly spaced and neat, and what’s nice is that nothing protrudes and they’re straight.

The downside is that they’re a little too visible for my taste.

As for the finish, it’s generally nice.

Even the mechanism for tilting the backrest, which usually looks cheap on 99% of gaming chairs, is well done, except for the foot cross, which looks cheap.

Correct castors

The castors are quiet and glide well on any surface, but…

Clearly, we can do better in terms of glide, and if you’re used to chairs that glide well, you’re going to want “better”.

Tilts up to 160°

Well, it’s sold as tilting up to 180°, but make no mistake…

It “only” tilts up to 160°! (Which is already very ergonomic).

This already corresponds to an almost reclining position, which will enable you to…

Take a break to watch a movie, take a nap, relax during a load or watch a streaming movie!

And for that, I give it a good rating.

The furgle gaming chair is easy to adjust

Another thing I like to check on gaming chairs is the quality of the adjustments.

On the right-hand side of the seat you’ll find the lever that lets you tilt the backrest.

Under the seat you’ll find the knob that lets you adjust the tension of the tilting mechanism according to your weight.

You’ll also find the lever that lets you raise/lower the chair and lock/unlock the tilt mechanism.

Of course, it’s a swivel chair, and I rarely remind you when a chair is swivel, because 100% of them are.

Assembly in less than 30 minutes

Assembly is quick and easy, because most of the screws are pre-assembled, so all you have to do is screw them in, and the instructions are well explained.

What’s more, my delivery took less than a week.

Customer reviews to consider

To give you some other points of view, I’ve scoured the whole internet to see what other users think!

Generally speaking, they like the design, especially the wide range of colors on offer.

The lumbar cushion (some tend not to use the neck cushion), which really adds a lot of comfort and…

Allows for many hours of “relaxed” play.

The chair’s overall comfort, too, thanks mainly to its very high density, which makes it both durable and comfortable.

It’s just as good for your height if you’re 1m65 as 1m80.

However, if you’re over 1m90, you’ll need to put the neck cushion on the top of the backrest and not in the holes.

After-sales service is responsive to any problems.

The tilting system makes the chair squeak a little, which can be annoying.

The seat is firm, which is great for playing long hours in comfort!

In short, a very good product.

Other interesting chairs

tectake 402029.jpg

The Tectake chairs are more complicated to compare, as there are several of them, but…

The best one has 1D armrests, a backrest inclination that only goes up to 105°, a lower maximum weight (120kg) and the density of the foam is not specified.

I’d only recommend it if you’re on a very tight budget.

tresko gaming chair

The Tresko!

However, its armrests are not adjustable, its backrest is fixed, it supports a lower maximum weight (105kg) and the density of the foam is not specified.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you can afford the Furgle.

langria

The Langria Armchair I won’t go into too much detail on this one, because although it’s in the same range, it’s only interesting if you want a gaming chair with a footrest.

Then again, Furgle has a much better version with footrest.
