Do you want a Corsair gaming chair, because you know the brand’s reputation and that they make good quality equipment?

Yes, but you’re having trouble differentiating between the brand’s 5 models, because there’s a lot of technical jargon and it’s hard to find your way around…

I’ve been in your shoes, I was afraid of choosing the wrong chair and realizing I’d wasted a lot of money.

I was afraid I’d be disappointed, or even simply that I’d choose a model that wasn’t right for me, or that I’d miss the opportunity to choose a better one.

The purpose of this page is to help you choose the best Corsair gaming chair.

I’ve tested all 5 models, and you can find a full 2-3000-word review on my site if you’re interested – one of them is also part of my top gamer chair review.

Otherwise, I’ll give you complete summaries, straight to the point.

Let’s move on to the top 5 (follow me from beginning to end, you won’t regret it).

The best Corsair gamer seats are:

The Corsair T2 Road Warrior: The best choice

corsair t2 road warrior black blue

This is Corsair’s best gaming chair.

With the T2 Road Warrior, you’ll have 4D adjustable armrests, so they’re adjustable in height, angle, front to back and width.

This is perfect for relieving tension on your shoulders (height adjustment), adapting to your position (front to back), your build (width) and the angle of your arms (angles), since nobody plays with straight arms.

The backrest can also be reclined up to 170Β° (almost lying down), so you can easily take a nap or rest while watching a film, a series or a stream.

The foam is the highest density available from Corsair, 55kg/m3 (which is very high).

This will give you a very firm seat, which will hold up over time without the risk of sagging.

The structure of the chair is made of steel, which is both solid, and therefore very good for the durability of the chair, and not very sensitive to humidity.

The castors are the brand’s best, “Rollers” with unparalleled smoothness that roll perfectly on all types of floor.

The PU leather is microperforated, which alleviates the problem of perspiration on PU leathers, so you’re less likely to find your back stuck to the seat in summer.

The base is made of aluminum, the best material for a base.

More resistant than nylon and metal, aluminum is also lighter!

What’s more, its rocking mechanism is “off-center”, which means it’s better suited to long hours of sitting.

Because this mechanism has a tipping point at knee level, your feet will always touch the ground when tipping.

This improves blood circulation and reduces leg pain.

The only drawback of the T2 Road Warrior is that, compared with the T3 Rush, it doesn’t have a lumbar memory cushion.

And compared to the T3 and T1, the backrest isn’t as wide.

So if you’re too broad-shouldered, aim for the T3.

Otherwise, the T2 is suitable for bodies between 1.65 and 1.90 m, with a maximum weight of 136 kg.

The Corsair T3 Rush: If you're broad-shouldered

corsair t3 rush review

With the Corsair T3 Rush, which is also a very good Corsair gamer chair, you’ll find some similarities with the T2.

For example, the armrests are also 4D adjustable, so you can also adjust them in height, angle, front to back and width.

This will enable you to adapt the chair entirely to you and your body, which is the aim of an ergonomic chair.

The backrest can be tilted up to 180Β°, which corresponds to a reclining position, and like the T2 you can choose the degree of tilt.

Perfect for watching YouTube videos in complete relaxation, for example.

The steel structure is state-of-the-art, so it promises to be very solid and durable over time.

The foam is also high-density, 55kg/m3, which is Corsair’s best density.

The result: durability and no risk of you ending up with flattened foam and the feeling of sitting on iron.

However, the big difference with the T2 is that the T2 is narrower in the shoulders, so if you’re a big guy, the T3 is more suitable.

Secondly, although the T3 Rush has standard castors (they’re good, just not T2-level), it has a lumbar memory cushion.

It hugs your lumbar area perfectly and molds itself to provide just the right amount of support.

If you have trouble with normal foam lumbar cushions, you’ll love it.

Then the T3 only has a nylon base (less solid, but sufficient for the maximum recommended weight).

The rocking mechanism is not as good as that of the T2 (your feet will lift off the ground when rocking, as the rocking point is located “in the middle”).

However, its other advantage is that it’s made of fabric. It’s highly breathable, so there’s no risk of sticking in summer.

Recommended size is approx. 1m60-1m87 for a maximum weight of 120 kg.

The Corsair T1 Race: If you want a T3 at a low price

corsair t1 race review

The Corsair T1 Race is also a very good gaming chair from Corsair, but it’s more of a “top value for money” version compared to the T3 Rush.

Basically, if you’re tempted by the T3 Rush, but your budget is more in line with the T1, this is the one for you.

Dimensions are similar to those of the T3 Rush.

You’ll also find some of the same adjustments as on the T3 Rush, like the 4D armrests (height, angles, front-back and width).

So the T1 is ergonomic in the sense that the armrests can be properly modulated to relieve tension in your body.

The tilting mechanism is similar to that of the T3 rush, but not as good as that of the T2.

So basically your feet will lift off the ground when you tip, and it’s harder to tip.

The T1 Race is also made of steel, which is the strongest material for a chair frame…

However, as with the T3, the base is made of nylon, which is less solid than the aluminum base of the T2.

Then, compared with the T2 and T3, the T1 also has high-density foam (48kg/m3), but slightly less dense than the T2 and T3, which have 55kg/m3.

That’s still very good, and there’s no risk of your seat sagging, don’t worry, I’m just stating a fact.

The T1’s castors are also “Rollers” as for the T2, which is therefore better than the T3.

The T1 is made of PU leather, which is of good quality and won’t flake over time, and will be more practical if you tend to eat and drink on your chair.

Because PU leather is easier to clean than the fabric from which the T3 Rush is made.

However, you’re also more likely to sweat in summer, as PU leather isn’t very breathable.

As with the T3 Rush, a recommended height of approx. 1.60-1.87m and a maximum weight of 120kg.

Corsair TC70 REMIX: The most office-oriented

corsair tc70.jpg

I’m not going to compare it directly to the T1 T2 and T3, because…

The TC70 is primarily designed for people who want a hybrid between a gaming chair and an office chair.

Its main advantage, which makes it Corsair’s best office chair, is its synchronous tilt mechanism.

Basically, when you tilt, the seat tilts slightly less than the backrest.

As a result, your feet will stay on the ground, your blood circulation will be improved, so no leg pain, and your hips will be less strained.

Simply put, it’s a highly ergonomic mechanism similar to the best ergonomic chairs on the market.

It’s also made from 55kg/m3 memory foam.

Which is excellent – firm memory foam is perfect for eliminating back pain.

However, the armrests are only 3D adjustable (height, front/back and angles).

Generally speaking, this is sufficient, as it allows you to relieve the tension on your shoulders by adjusting the height, adapting them to your position and getting closer to the desk thanks to the front/back adjustment.

You can also adjust the angle of your arms.

However, you won’t be able to adjust the width.

As the tilt is synchronous, you won’t be able to adjust the backrest except for tilts of up to 180Β°.

The maximum is the 105Β° provided by the rocker.

The piston is class 3, which is less solid and tenacious than a class 4 piston as on the T1 T2 T3.

The base is made of nylon, which is generally sufficient, but not as strong as steel or aluminum.

The lumbar cushion is integrated into the chair.

So while you’ll love it if you’re the “right size”, if you’re too short or too tall, the lumbar cushion will just destroy your back and you won’t be able to adjust it.

As the TC70 is more office than gaming…

It’s not completely made as a bucket seat, so you’ll have more freedom of movement, as the side cheeks aren’t prominent.

Recommended body size is around 1m60-1m85 and 124 kg.

The Corsair TC60 Fabric: Take the TC70 instead

corsair tc60 1.jpg

I’m going to save you the trouble of having to read a very long test here…

Because in fact, all you have to do is read the TC70 test to find out how good the TC60 Fabric is.

There are only two differences between the two models:

  • The TC60 Fabric isn’t made from memory foam, so it’s less comfortable for my taste – after all, maybe some of you don’t like memory foam?
  • The TC60 Fabric is made entirely of fabric, unlike the TC70 Remix, which is a mixture of PU leather and fabric.

The advantage of all-fabric is that it’s highly breathable, and won’t make you sweat in summer.

Unlike the TC70, which has a few pieces of PU leather as well as fabric.

However, fabric is more likely to stain, unlike PU leather, which can be cleaned with a wipe.

The recommended size and maximum weight are identical to those of the TC60 Fabric.

Frequently asked questions about Corsair (FAQ)

Corsair is a very good brand of gaming chairs, so it’s normal to have a lot of questions.

Here, I’d like to answer a few of them!

Why choose a Corsair gaming chair over another brand?

Corsair makes some very good models, some for hardcore gamers, and others for more office-oriented uses.

At Corsair, they’ve decided not to make too many models, but to target profiles they know.

In this way, they are able to offer excellent value for money and quality chairs.

All Corsair chairs are aimed at “average” sizes.

In fact, you won’t find any Corsair model really suitable if you’re 2 meters tall or 150kg.

But if you’re of average height…

You’ll easily find what you’re looking for with Corsair’s affordable gaming chairs and ergonomic features.

If you want the best of the best, 4D adjustable armrests, comfort and durability, go for the T2 Road Warrior.

If you want a Corsair gaming chair without blowing your budget by opting for the T2 Road Warrior, you can go for the T1 race.

It’s very similar to the T2, except that it’s a little less sturdy. So if you’re very heavy, take that into account.

Finally, if you want a Corsair gaming chair with an office look, the best choice is the TC70 Remix.

It’s 100 times better than the TC60, because it’s made of fabric and memory foam.

All Corsair gaming chairs come with a 2-year warranty, no matter where you buy them.

If you have a problem, our after-sales service is top-notch (and that’s very important).
